Chosen because of founder Emma Anderson’s (far right) passion and commitment to change lives as evidenced by the following: Niños del Barrio Foundation was established to raise funds to help children in the city of Nuevo Laredo Tamaulipaz Mexico. We believe it is our obligation to humanity to pay back some of the blessings that have been given to us. Further, we believe poverty is a perpetual condition caused by a lack of resources and opportunity. It is our objective to provide impoverished children and families in the Barrio of Colonia Nueva Era, Mexico, with skills, resources, and support so they can free themselves and their families forever from the cycle of poverty and begin new lives filled with hope, health, and dignity. Niños del Barrio Foundation adheres to a philosophy of love and compassion to support the children and families whom society has left behind.
The corporation is organized exclusively for the purpose of providing funds for the children and families in the city of Nuevo Laredo Tamaulipaz Mexico who are experiencing hunger, homelessness, joblessness, and medical and mental health issues.
Niños del Barrio Foundation’s mission is to lift residents of Nuevo Laredo out of extreme poverty by funding integrated community development projects, including water, sanitation, education, and health.
The goal is to lead these people and children in need towards a better life, improved happiness and joy in addition to improving their living conditions.
We believe in supporting children, families, and communities who want to participate in a process of development to improve their lives through education, healthcare, and housing.
